Successful Orchid breeding YEAR 2

I have a great passion for plants. For the past 3 years, I've been able to breed jasmine and wild angel. Last February 2011, I started to breed orchids. To see them bear flowers and bloom every day is like a therapy for my self everyday.

The first year was successful and I was able to see them bear flowers this last November of 2011. And again, another successful year of breeding has passed and I'm hoping to see their flowers by end of the year.

Papa's wisdom

Papa have this kind of friend-like attitude every time he talk to us in public or in our everyday conversations. He never talk to us the way other parents do to their child. I always thought of him as the coolest father in the world. There were no boundaries in terms of the way you speak to him as long as hindi mo matatapakan ang pride nya and you sound nice and won't say any disrespectful term to him (of course, show some respect at all time).
One time I heard Papa talking to my younger brother. I thought he was doing a disciplinary action to kuya.

And as I listen closely, mali pala hinala ko. they'r having a man-to-man talk that time.

◄ I manage to hid myself somewhere as I took a shot of them.

Papa never failed to give us his wisdom. He always give us valuable lessons by telling us his experiences in life.

And as continue listening to their conversations, I remember how I value papa's wisdom and how I relate it to my life.

Papa's my best adviser. Our father is our best adviser.

My parents

love to watch them  for the whole day while they're just teasing each other just like kids.

I love my parents!

My first hand-stitch corset

This is my first corset. Why do I have to make one? I don't know, lately I was fascinated by the goth genre and I saw one of the dress wear by a gorgeous lady and found it look cool so I made one. And corset is (what I think it is) the second skin of Goths just like jeans to other people and just like what the fashion world said. And also to maintain a good posture and to avoid scoliosis.

I spent ten (10) days on making this corset. I've done it hand stitched since I'm afraid of   using a sewing machine.

She cooks to save the relationship

There are a lot of times that my parents argue because of their differences. Most of the time they ended up not talking to each other for the rest of the day and worst, we are affected by their quarrel(Specially in times when we want an increase in our allowance. Bad shot!).

My grandfather once told me that couples, specially husband and wife should not let each other go to bed at night without talking or fixing the problem they are into. I thought it was their way of solving the problem and getting the fire on again on the following day(Yey!). But no! Yes, it was a big no.

I caught Mama once, actually it was several nights ago, cooking something in the kitchen. I secretly watched her until she finished cooking(Darn! The dish smells so good!). I assumed that that was her midnight snack but I was wrong, it was for Papa.

They were sitting at the couch at our backyard while watching the summer night sky. It was like they were having a date(Yee, kilig to the bones! Ha-ha). How romantic they are to each other. While they were eating the food that Mama prepared, they were talking about what happened that day.

By that  I remember how she mend my bad day by treating me a savory dishes which I so much like.

Now I know how she keep the relationship between her and Papa tight and how she got our "kiliti", it was all because she cooks a delicious food to save the relationship.
